Safety Information for Fawley and Holbury Residents

Esso, ExxonMobil Chemical and Nalco at Fawley regularly issue information on safety to around 3,000 local householders and businesses.

 

In a new development, in partnership with Fawley Online, the companies on the Fawley site are making this information available on the internet.

 

The information pack that is distributed to residents contains an Emergency Instructions Card as well as a brochure which provides a description of the activities on the Fawley site as well as information about the Emergency Instructions Card.

 

Safety at Fawley
Safety is the number one priority for the petrochemical industries at Fawley, who take all reasonable steps to prevent accidents of any type.

They have emergency plans in place to minimise the effects of any incident.

If necessary, the companies’ resources would be reinforced by the emergency services and special provisions made by Hampshire County Council.
