Minority groups living in the New Forest are urged to come forward and have their say on services available to them in the district.
'Equality Network' is a new consultation panel, giving minority groups in the Forest the chance to voice their opinions about local government decisions.
New Forest District Council and its partner agencies are looking for residents to join the panel who are disabled, of all races and religions, and come from the gay, lesbian and bi-sexual community.
A spokesperson for NFDC, said: "We are committed to providing equal opportunities and services to all our residents and staff members irrespective of race, colour or creed, and expect this to be self evident in the way in which we provide services.
"The council has taken significant action and its work to achieve Level 1 of the Equality Standard is being recognised. However in all equalities issues there is always more to be done and employees have a vital role in achieving this."
'Equality Network' will discuss a wide range of council services, including refuse collection, recycling, housing and community facilities.
Questionnaires, surveys and telephone interviews are just some of the ways the panel will consult with the council, but members can choose how they would like to be contacted.
The results of these consultations and how they've changed the work of the council will be made available to the panel members using newsletters.
