Heads of Environmental Health and Directors of Trading Standards will wish to be aware of a product recall by Sainsbury’s Supermarket Limited, of Sainsbury’s Pure Orange Juice with Bits from Concentrate in 1 Litre cartons (all date codes up to and including 14/05/2005).
Sainsbury’s Supermarket Limited are undertaking a full product recall and are placing product recall notices in national newspapers tomorrow. In addition point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all Sainsbury’s stores.
Sainsbury’s Supermarket Limited have taken this action following the discovery of a foreign body in a 1 litre carton of the juice.
