Police are appealing for witnesses after a property for adults with learning difficulties was damaged.

The damage occurred at Pentagon Court in Blackfield Road, Fawley on Friday, July 28.

Damage was caused to ground floor windows at the front of the property and CCTV equipment was ripped off the wall.

A sleeping resident was disturbed sometime between 11 and 11.30pm by noises outside his bedroom.  Another resident arrived home shortly after 11pm and saw a small group of youths aged 17-18 years loitering near the property, two of them were girls.

The police are appealing for this group of youths to contact them as they may well have vital information that will assist them with their enquiries.  They would also like to speak to anyone else who passed the property and saw anything or anyone acting suspiciously.

Information should be given by phoning Hythe police station on 0845 045 45 45 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
