| Jack, Poppy and the Princess |
|
Waterside Theatre Company is pleased to announce its latest production, the pantomime: Jack and the Beanstalk.
The Princess is coming home to celebrate her birthday, the King has declared a holiday – and the village is delighted!
In fact the only person not happy about the homecoming is the Princess herself who swaps clothes with her maid so that she can mix with the villagers and have some fun – and there she meets Jack!
Hurly and Burly, the local police are trying to arrest Poppy, Jack’s mother who has adopted the latest arrival in the village Lacticia – a most peculiar cow!
Meanwhile the Queen has had a secret meeting with the Witch about Lacticia….
What does the Witch want with Lacticia?
What will happen when Jack is tricked into selling her for a bag of gold?
Will Fairy Flintspark save the day?
Will Jack and the Princess live happily ever after?
Find the answer to all these questions – and of course meet the giant – in the land at the top of the beanstalk at The Waterside Theatre in Holbury.
The performances run from 30th January to 3rd February at 7.30pm, with a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm. Tickets are priced £6 for all on Tuesday, then £7 (£6 for concessions) Wednesday to Saturday and are available by calling 023 8084 1533 or on the door of the theatre during the week of the show.
