Paul Rapson, professional photographer has had one of his images selected to be displayed in the Royal Albert Hall.
'Counterpoint', is a new photographic exhibition displayed on the ground floor of the Royal Albert Hall from Monday 9 June until Sunday 13 July 2008.
The exhibition is part of the Royal Albert Hall's free exhibition series reflect.
Paul supplies images to the world's leading specialist picture agency The London Science Photo Library who have supplied all the images for the exhibition.
The images are displayed in pairs and Paul's images of dried sun bleached cracked mud is shown next to a close-up image of human skin.
Paul says that when he is shooting for the library he often has a preconceived idea of how the image may be used, as in this case, it is easy to be wrong but very pleasantly surprised.
Paul will be exhibiting locally, later in the year at the Rotary Arts and craft Fair in Hythe on the 6th September 08. |
