Dibden Allotments Charity News

Over the last year the Dibden Allotments Charity Trustees have made grants exceeding £240,000.

 

Most recently the New Forest Volleyball Club received £1,000 towards equipment for their Youth Side at Applemore and MODCATS were granted £1,500 towards transport for their disabled club members who meet at St John’s Hall, Hythe.

 

Cadland and Hythe Primary; and Noadswood Schools received a total of  £3,690 to help with the provision of School Trips and Uniforms.

 

Hythe Community Fayre Day is on the 29th May - £250 is in support of this. 

 

The Charity will have a presence at both Hythe and Marchwood Community Fayre Day – Thursday 20th May.

 

Waterside Scrap Store which supplies schools and groups with craft materials etc., received £550.

 

To support the growth of St John’s Youth Group £2,500 was given towards a new sound system.

 

RELATE counselling service received £2,000 for work undertaken at their Marchwood offices at the Mulberry Centre.

 

During March 35 grants were made to individuals in difficulty totalling £12,000.
