Exbury celebrates Mothering Sunday this week with complimentary daffodils, wonderful displays of camellias and spring bulbs and the chance to treat mum to a special lunch in the restaurant.
The engine pulling passengers on the Garden Railway will be decorated with spring blossom and foliage.
“We all want to say ‘thank you’ to our mothers and what better way than a day out in beautiful surroundings?” said Nick de Rothschild, whose family manages the 200-acre woodland Gardens in the New Forest. “There are daffodils for every lady who visits on that day and a chance to enjoy our wonderful spring colour.”
And mum and her family can take advantage of Exbury’s spring offer to give a free return ticket to all those paying visitors who also travel on the railway.
The offer is valid until June 5 and return visitors will be welcome between September 1 and October 21.
