Win a bouquet for choosing your pick of the bunch

BouquetA delightful bouquet of flowers can be won by anyone who nominates in this year’s New Forest Access For All Awards.

The local charity, New Forest Access For All, is calling for people to nominate a local shop, business, service or any other place which has made a special effort to improve access and welcome people with disabilities and frail members of the community.

Past winners have included restaurants, a library, leisure centre and a large chain supermarket.

The 2011 Awards are supported by New Forest District Council and winners will be invited to a presentation ceremony at the council’s offices later this year.

All the nomination forms will be entered into a prize draw to win the bouquet of flowers – a small ‘thank you’ for nominating.

Chairman of New Forest Access For All, Joan Cundill, said:

“Past winners have really valued the recognition of our award scheme, which is now in its third year. Whoever is nominated demonstrates a commitment to accessibility and an understanding of the problems often encountered by people with disabilities and we hope that others will be encouraged to follow suit.”

Look out for nomination leaflets at various locations around the district.

Alternatively you can download a form online at www.newforestaccessforall.org.uk or www.newforest.gov.uk

You can also nominate by phone on 023 8028 5276.

The closing date for nominations is Monday 31 October 2011.
