Waterside Musical Society has started 2009 with a swing, preparing a concert of 60’s and 70’s music featuring choral arrangements of some of the most famous artists.
Musical Director Dawn Hall has selected material from Stevie Wonder, ABBA, Queen, Bread, The Carpenters, The Bee Gees, James Taylor and others.
The vocal arrangements have been written by Steve Christie.
This follows the great success of ‘The Beat Goes On’ last year where WMS performed to capacity audiences.
The performances are at 7.30pm on Friday March 27th at St Andrew’s Centre Dibden Purlieu, Saturday March 28th at Colbury Memorial Hall, Friday April 3rd and Saturday April 4th at Hanger Farm.
