Waterside Theatre Company is absolutely thrilled to announce its next production, the comedy, ‘Daisy Pulls It Off’.
It is an affectionate, keenly observed parody of life in an English boarding school for girls in a bygone era.
The plucky heroine Daisy Meredith, an elementary school girl, wins a scholarship to Grangewood School for Young Ladies.
However, she is soon forced to face snobbish prejudice from her jealous schoolgirl rivals, Sybil Burlington and Monica Smithers.
Despite their attempts to have her expelled, Daisy, along with her newly found best chum, Trixie Martin, is determined to find the missing treasure and save the school from financial ruin.
However, the ‘gels’ are not your everyday pupils; with an average age of approaching 40, they are revelling in this uncommonly rare opportunity to go back to school and are having a spiffing time!
Daisy Pulls It Off it being performed at the Waterside Theatre in Holbury from 15th – 17th May at 7:30pm.
