Appeal after fail to stop collision in Blackfield

Witnesses are being sought by police in the New Forest after a 44-year-old man was seriously injured in a fail to stop collision in Blackfield on Thursday, August 21.

The pedestrian was left with a serious leg injury following the collision on Hampton Lane shortly after midnight.

The silver Subaru Impreza that was also involved failed to stop at the scene. It had been travelling southeast on Hampton Lane prior to the collision.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the car driving erratically in the area at just before a quarter past midnight.
