Driver Skills Scheme 60+ Workshop on Friday 27 May 2016 in Winchester

Hampshire County Council’s road safety team operates the Driver Skills Scheme 60+ to help Hampshire residents who are 60 and over to stay safe on the road for as long as possible.

The team advise both drivers and family members who may have concerns about safety, as well as helping those who have no current driving concerns but wish to ensure they continue to drive safely.

The scheme is represented in the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Older Drivers Forum.

In December 2015 the Driver Skills Scheme 60+ was included in an edition of BBCs ‘The One Show’ when John Sergeant and Jenny Bond had their driving assessed.
